The Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park, popularly known as Top Slip, will be reopened for tourists from May 1, Wildlife Warden K.R. Varadharajan has said.The sanctuary was closed for tourists on March 1 because of severe water scarcity and to prevent forest fire, he said.Summer showers.With the Anamalai's range of Western Ghats receiving summer showers for the last one week, the Government has ordered reopening of sanctuary.
