Army Invited Application
The Army Education Corps has invited applications for the post of Havildar Education in Group X and Y to impart training to troops. According to a release, the total number of vacancies are 237, with the science stream needing 159 and the arts stream 78. Those who are in the age group of 20 to 25 as on October 6, 2008, are eligible to apply.Applications for the post of Havildar Education in Group X and Y to impart training to troopsThe educational qualification for Group X applicants is a degree or post-graduate degree in the science or arts stream along with a degree in education (B. Ed.). For Group Y, a B. Ed. degree will not be required. A working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both is a must. Screening and physical fitness test will be carried out as per the programme that will be issued by the Recruiting Offices. Those selected will be permitted to appear in the written examination that will be held in Delhi on July 27.
Those successful in the written test and placed in the merit list will appear for the teaching aptitude test and interview to be conducted at the AEC Training College and Centre in Madhya Pradesh. Those qualifying in all the above will be enrolled in the Corps as per the overall merit list.Those interested can contact the Recruiting Office at Redfields for information.
