Syndicate Bank will organise a door-to-door campaign here on September 14 to create awareness about its two new schemes – Synd400+ and Synd500+. A release said the bank officials and staff would collect deposits and open new accounts during the campaign. Synd400+ offered 10.10 per cent interest for 400 days deposit and Synd500+ offered 10.15 per cent interest for 500 days deposit. The interest was 10.50 per cent for senior citizens. The bank also planned to upgrade all its branches to e-banking by March 2009.
