OPCON 2008 On Nov 20 & 21
The AN-32 Operators Conference (OPCON) 2008 for the operators of the AN-32 aircraft will be held at 43 Wing, Air Force Station, Sulur, on November 20 and 21. According to an official release, the annual meet is meant to enhance the knowledge and share the experiences of the operators. AN-32 aircraft, known as ‘Sutluj’, is the workhorse of air transport operations in the Indian Air Force. The meet will be inaugurated by Air Marshal S. Radhakrishnan, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, Thiruvananthapuram. Specialists from agencies like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Centre for Military Airworthiness Certification, Indian Oil Corporation, and various IAF formations will take part in the conference.
