J M organising 1day workshop in bakery sector
To create awareness on the huge job opportunities in the bakery sector across the world, a city-based firm is organising a one-day training programme and workshop here on May 26.Since there was a dearth and demand for skilled workers in the bakery sector, which was growing fast every year, the training and workshop, would somewhat help bakery owners to meet their requirements, Anandbabu, Director, J M Baking Industrial School, told reporters here today.The topics to be taken up in the workshop included the present status of bakery sector in the world, employment opportunities in foreign countries and also in ships and airlines, he said.Live demonstration of makaing of cake, snacks, biscuits and rusk and screening of a video film on the growth of bakery products across the globe also would be held, Anandbabu said.Saying that the school has so far trained 130 students, including women in Self Help Groups in Tamil Nadu, Anandbabu said that the workshop would also provide information to the beginners on how to start the business.
