"Stand taken by Kerala on Mullaperiyar defies logic"
The stand taken by the Kerala government on the Mullaperiyar issue defied logic, Tamil Nadu Public Works Department Minister Durai Murugan said here on Saturday.Speaking to newspersons, he said the government was not complying with what the the Apex court had spelt out. Pointing out that the Tamil Nadu government was left with no other alternative but to approach the court again to ensure compliance, he hoped that the federal set up and the judiciary would take the matter to its logical end.Stating that efforts would be taken to improve the Kodappamund channel, he said its maintenance would be discussed with Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin during his visit on May 23.
