Coimbatore: The Government Exhibition on the Jail Grounds organised by the Information and Public Relations Department of the State Government concluded on Monday. The exhibition fetched a record revenue of Rs. 151.20 lakh and the net profit stood at 107.79 lakh. In 2005, the exhibition netted 122.72 lakh and the net profit stood at Rs. 81.21 lakh. The police, Medical Education and Forest Department won the prizes for the best Government department pavilion. The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board and Field Publicity Directorate bagged the prizes for the best stalls by Government undertakings.
