2 blast accusiest got bail
Two accused in the 1998 Coimbatore serial blast cases have been granted bail by the special court trying the cases.Special designated Session Court judge K Uthirapathi granted bail to 122nd accused Naushad and 123rd accused Sardar based on the finding that there was no evidence for the charges framed against them.
While granting the bail this evening, the judge asked the accused to execute personal surety of Rs.10,000 each, court sources said.The accused have been asked to follow certain conditions, including appearing before the Court during all future hearings and cooperating with police during security check.They were also asked not to mingle with other accused during the hearing in the court and not to give any interview to mediapersons, the sources said.Naushad is lodged in the Central Prison here, while Sardar in Chennai jail.
