Singapore-based SilkAir is planning to operate services to Singapore from Coimbatore thrice a week from October, a release from SilkAir here has said.Coimbatore becomes the third regional destination for SilkAir after Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The airliner is planning to operate an A-320 on the route with a seating capacity of 130-odd.SilkAir is operating services to 29 destinations spread over 11 countries with 14 aircraft.
