The TNAU Farm Workers’ Union will organise a conference here on August 18.Farm workers from the university’s farms, Government horticultural farms, seed farms, oil farms and research colleges will take part.According to a release from the union, the members will thank the Government for regularising 409 workers, and also place some demands at the conference.State Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S. Arumugam and Rural Industries Minister Pongalur N. Palanisamy are expected to attend the conference.
