The supplementary examination for undergraduates and post-graduates of Bharathiar University, who have failed in a single subject, will be held on Monday.The results will be published on August 25.This is the first time that the university is offering such an examination for those who failed in a single subject.This decision has been taken after considering requests from candidates who have cleared all papers, save one and are having difficulty in pursuing higher education or getting employment.According to the Controller of Examinations B. Krishnamurthy, the examination for post-graduate students will be held in the forenoon (9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.).The undergraduate students will have their exams in the afternoon (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) at the university premises.Special buses have been arranged for students from Gandhipuram bus stand and railway station to reach the centre.
