Cinema theatre's security tightend
In order to maintain foolproof security, in view of the recent twin blasts at Hyderabad, the city police today directed all the cinema theatres in and around the city, to carry out necessary and mandatory checking of viewers and their belongings.
In an emergency meeting with theatre owners and managers, city police commissioner, C K Gandhirajan asked them to strictly check all the viewers and their belongings before entering the premises and cinema halls.Persons with 'suspicious nature' should not be allowed inside the theatre and the management should clean and carry out search inside the hall after every show, they were told.
The managers were asked to take necessary steps to inform police if any suspicious objects were left behind in the hall, police sources said.Senior police officials Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and upto sub-inspector level attended the meeting, the sources said.
