The Department of Statistics of the PSG College of Arts and Science will celebrate its golden jubilee on September 14. According to a release from R. Ethirajhulu, Head, Department of Statistics, the celebrations will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation G.K. Vasan at the college premises.The department that was established in 1957, has moved ahead from offering graduate courses, to post-graduate, research and doctoral programmes.
