Vazhikatti Mental Health and Research Institute has opened a rehabilitation unit, “Anbagam,” at Nehru Nagar, Kalappatti Housing Unit area.Inaugurating the new home, Dr. Thara, director of the Schizophrenia Research Foundation, Chennai, said that rehabilitation homes were one of the most needed services.Such homes would be a help to families that have people with chronic mental illness, particularly those with schizophrenia.K.
