TNEB formed new sections
The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has formed a new section called Lawley Road Section / Central Division / Coimbatore Electricity Distribution Circle / Metro / TNEB.According to a TNEB release, the new section is functioning at the Office of the Assistant Engineer, Lawley Road Section, New No. 21, Old No. 27, Subramaniam Road, R.S. Puram, Coimbatore - 641002.The following areas are covered under the Nehru distribution: Lawley Road, part of Robertson Road, G.V.D. Layout, Nathan Nagar, GRD Layout, LIC Colony, Subramaniapuram Road 1 and 2, Angammal Layout, Anbaga Street, Bannariamman Koil Street, Sakthi Mariamman Koil Street, Vinayaga Koil Street, Rasathiammal Layout, part of Thadagam Road, part of Maruthamalai Road, Thirumoorthy Layout, Captain Palanisamy Layout and Ramasamy Gounder Layout.
The following areas are covered under the Kalaiarangam distribution: Bhashyakaralu Road (West), Guru Govind Singh Road, Vincent Colony, Periasamy Road (West), Venkatasamy Road (West), Ponnurangam Road (West), T.V. Samy Road (West), Lokamanya Road (West), Venkatachalam Road, Punniakodi Street and part of D.B. Road.
The following areas are covered under the Muthannakulam distribution: P.M. Samy Colony, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Venkatachalam Mudhaliyur Colony, part of Sundapalayam Road, part of Robertson Road, part of Thadagam Road, Arokyasamy Road, VOC Road, Meenakshi Nagar, Kamban Nagar, Bharathi Nagar, part of Aerimedu, Venkatakrishna Road and Subramaniam Road.The following areas are covered under the Gandhi Park distribution: Ramalingam Road, A.K.S. Nagar, Rayyappapuram, Srinivasaraghavan Road and part of D.B. Road.Consumers belonging to the above mentioned distributions are requested to contact the newly-formed Lawley Road section for EB official works and fuse off calls.Since computerisation of the new section is under progress, consumers should remit their current EB bills in the respective sections where previous bills have been paid until further intimation.
