Training prog for police offiers

The Public Health Department recently conducted a training programme for police officers on the need to register births and deaths.The programme was inaugurated by State Deputy Principal Registrar of Births and Deaths and Joint Director of State Health Investigation Wing, N.C. Subramaniam along with the Deputy Director Balasubramanian.The programme stressed the importance of registering birth and deaths, procedures involved, the use of birth and death certificates, when and who should register the births and deaths. Assistant Director of Public Health, S.V. Parasamasivam (Public Health) explained the birth and death registration procedures.
