The Indian Wind Power Association and Tata Power Trading Company organised a meeting here on Saturday on Clean Development Mechanism and power trading.Some of the services of Tata Power Trading Company are energy management, facilitation of coal supply, power trading, operation and management of power plants and advisory services.Representatives of the company spoke about the different types of power trading, which will help match surplus and deficit and handle power shortage.The vice-chairman of the Indian Wind Power Association, K. Kasthurirangaian, said the State had nearly 3,600 MW installed capacity of wind power, including about 1,400 MW in Coimbatore.
