National conference on pumps
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will organise here a national conference on pumps on December 21 and 22.A release from the CII said the event is organised in association with the Indian Pump Manufacturers’ Association and the Southern India Engineering Manufacturers’ Association. The theme for the two-day event is “emerging technologies and business opportunities in pump manufacturing.”The National Co-ordinator of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Jiwesh Nandan, will inaugurate the event. About 150 pump manufacturers will attend.The conference will have speakers from the BEE, Energy and Resources Institute, Mather and Platt Pumps, Grundfos Pumps, Danfoss and Kirloskar Pumps. They will talk on subjects such as energy conservation in pumping system, latest developments in industrial pumps, advancements in material technology, etc.Pump manufacturers, suppliers, technology providers and users will participate to know about the latest developments in the industry and to improve its competitiveness.
