Medical camp for rural people
A medical camp for people in rural areas organised by Isha Yoga Centre at Thondamuthur in Coimbatore.Isha Yoga Centre, Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital and the Rotary Club of Thondamuthur conducted a free health awareness camp and also a dental health camp at the Thondamuthur Panchayat Elementary School on Saturday.The camp was organised as part of the Isha Yoga Centre’s Action for Rural Rejuvenation programme.The programme was being carried out by the centre for the welfare of the rural people.A press release from the centre said that 122 patients were offered free medical treatment and this included dental care also.The camp also sensitised the people to various health problems such as hypertension and the importance of nutrition and dental hygiene.
