Cleaning of Velliangiri hills
Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science and Project Green Hands of Isha Foundation had recently organised a trekking expedition to Velliangiri hills to remove litter and plastic materials left behind by the pilgrims who visit the Vellingiri Andavar temple.Recently a campaign was launched by Swami Abi Padha of Isha Foundation under which 300 volunteers from the college and Isha Foundation took part. About 200 plastic bags were cleared and handed over for recycling. The volunteers were issued participation certificates by Swami Nagaroopa of Isha Foundation.
