Police personnel and their family members undergoing eye check-ups in a camp at the Police Hospital on Friday.The Coimbatore City Police in association with Aravindh Eye Hospitals on Friday conducted an eye check-up camp for the police personnel and their family members.City Police Commissioner C.K. Gandhirajan, recalling the recently conducted cardiac check up camp for police personnel and the eye camp on Friday, said that overstretched police personnel should remember that ‘Health is the Chief Wealth’ and should take preventive steps to protect them from ailments.More than 250 persons, including police personnel and family members took, part in the camp and underwent eye check-ups. Deputy Commissioners of Police, Assistant Commissioners and a number of senior officers took part.0The police have planned to organise a series of such speciality check-up camps for generating awareness among the police personnel and their families and to initiate them into preventive health check-up drives at frequent intervals.
