A major tragedy was averted by alert staff of a petrol pump here when they put out the fire on the tube of a tanker that was unloading fuel to an underground tank.According to fire service sources, one employee of the pump on busy Raja Street noticed fire on the connecting tube and immediately alerted others, who extinguished it by a fighter equipment.Possible fire in the fuel station would have caused major damage
