S. Rajendran on Friday took charge as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Coimbatore City. He was earlier Superintendent of Police, Special Task Force. He replaces P. Sugumar who has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the CB-CID at Coimbatore. Change in Coimbatore Police
M. Vijayalakshmi, who was formerly Superintendent of Police, SIT of the CB-CID, Coimbatore, had taken over as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Coimbatore City. She replaces P. Nagarajan who had gone on leave.
