Karunya University, with the implementation of WiFi connectivity, has become one among the few educational institutions to have the facility. According to a university release, Paul Dhinakaran, Chancellor of the university, inaugurated this communication facility. This seamless connectivity facilitates the users to access internet and intranet through laptops from the WiFi hot spots from any part of the university. The project is implemented at a cost of Rs. one crore using the state-of-the-art 8.2.11 technology.
