“Made in Coimbatore” Industrial Expo

As many as 75 stalls have exhibited products made by industries here at the “Made in Coimbatore” Industrial Expo organised by Lions Club of Coimbatore Gems. The expo, which was inaugurated at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam here on Thursday, will be on till April 27.As many as 75 stalls have exhibited products made by industries here at the “Made in Coimbatore” Industrial Expo organised by Lions Club of Coimbatore Gems.
Electrical and electronic products, pumps, motors, paper bags and cups, construction materials, faucets, apparel and garments are some of the products that are manufactured in the city and which are being exhibited at the exhibition. Seminars and interactive sessions will be held on environmental issues, role of bankers in the development of micro, small and medium-enterprises, and business success stories. This will be organised as part of the exhibition, for the benefit of visitors.
Service providers, banks and Government organisations are also participating at the fair. The organisers plan to conduct the “Made in Coimbatore” exhibition in other parts of the country in association with the Lions Clubs in the respective places. The products will be transported in a single truck, thus reducing the transportation cost, according to a release from the club. The exhibition will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and entry is free.
