The Collector, V. Palanikumar, has announced that mass contact programmes for resolving complaints relating to Public Distribution System (PDS) will be conducted at nine villages in all the nine taluks on July 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In Coimbatore North, the programme would be conducted at Sircar Samakulam, Arisipalayam in Coimbatore South, Paduvampalli in Palladam, Sevur in Avanashi, Odanthurai in Mettuppalayam, 15 Velampalayam in Tirupur, Vedapatti in Udumalpet, Samathur in Pollachi, Attakatti in Valparai. Residents of these areas having grievances relating to family cards such as address change, seeking issue of fresh family card, issues such as erratic supply or non-supply of essential items could be voiced at the meeting.
