National-Level Paper Presentation Competition
Henkel India Limited will conduct a national-level paper presentation competition, “Henkel Eco-petition,” for schools on environmental issues. This year, the competition will address the issue of water conservation. According to a company release, the competition will cover over 500 schools across the country. Students from classes X to XII can participate. The theme of the paper will be “Hold your blue gold – My innovative strategy to reduce, reuse and recycle water.” Participants will have to write a paper in not more than 2,500 words on the topic. “Water conservation is the need of the hour and by conducting this competition, Henkel will be contributing towards sustainability of water resources in a new way,” said Sam Chandar, Vice President –HR and Corporate Communications, Henkel India Limited. The winners would get cash awards of Rs.10,000, Rs.7,500 and Rs.5,000 for the first, the second, and the third places. They would also receive gift hampers.
