Groundnut VRI (Gn) 7 variety with a yield of 1,865 kg a hectare is suitable for rainfed tracts of Namakkal, Salem, Erode, Dharmapuri and Perambalur districts.Brinjal PLR (B) 2 with a yield of 38 tonnes a hectare is suitable for cultivation in Cuddalore, Villupuram, Thiruvannamalai, Vellore, Kancheepuram and Perambular districts.
