Certificate Programme On SPSS 16.0 software
Saradar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management will organise here a certificate programme on SPSS 16.0 software on September 19 and 20. According to a release from the institute, it will provide exposure to the participants in data analytical techniques to aid managerial decision making in the textile industry.About 150 participants are expected. The institute will now offer short-term programmes according to the needs of the industry.
These will be on specific subjects such as quality and operational management and marketing and merchandising. These are mainly for those who do not want to do long-term programmes. The institute currently had 128 students in its regular management programmes. It will also expand to finance and human resources. The institute will also offer open learning diploma in business entrepreneurship, in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmedabad. The institute also planned to hold management-related programme every month.
