TNSTC Introduced Booking Facility
Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation has introduced the facility of booking tickets for its air conditioned buses and ultra deluxe buses on various routes at the State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) reservation counters.A release from the corporation managing director said that at present it was operating air conditioned buses to Chennai, Bangalore, Tiruchendur and ultra deluxe buses to Chennai from Pollachi, Mettuppalayam, Udhagamandalam and Gudalur.For the convenience of passengers, Online Ticketing Reservation System has been introduced at SETC counters. Passengers can reserve tickets 30 days in advance for any route and any destination. In Tamil Nadu, 46 reservation counters of the SETC are functioning. Tickets for the ordinary bus services to Kumbakonam, Chidambaram, Tiurnelveli, Thoothukudi, Rameswaram, Tiruvannamalai, Kumuzhi, Rajapalayam could also be booked through this facility.Tickets for Bangalore, Hansur, K.R. Nagar, Mysore can also be booked. The facility is available at Udhagamandalam, Tirupur and Erode bus stands too. Details have been displayed at the reservation counters.
