Three persons sustained injuries in a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) accident that took place in a house on Car Street in Sowripalayam in the city on Wednesday morning. It is learnt that gas had leaked from the LPG cylinder throughout the night and in the morning when one of the inmates tried to switch on an electrical gadget, the LPG present had resulted in fire accident besides an explosion. The injured persons have been identified as Chinnayan (47), Priyadarshini (19) and Ajith (12).
