Radio City Celebtaed Children's Day
Radio City 91.1FM, the nation’s ‘Whatte Fun’ FM station is all set to celebrate Children’s Day across the nation on November 14, 2008. Making Children’s Day ‘Whatte Fun’ this year, the FM station is celebrating this occasion by bringing together everyone - the young, the young at heart, the blessed as well as the lesser privileged in society. A variety of activities are set of roll across Radio City 91.1FM stations in New Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Surat, Vadodara, Lucknow, Jaipur, Nagpur, Ahmednagar, Vizag and Coimbatore.
Making for an out-an-out Whatte Fun listening experience, Radio City 91.1FM will be abuzz with even more fun with special promos and contests, special child-guests co-hosting shows with RJs, RJs along with celebrities reminiscing about their childhood, fun goodies and souvenirs from Radio City all coupled with some melodious music.
Radio City is also concluding its 3-week ‘City Smile Initiative’ for lesser privileged children in 8 cities on November 14. This initiative is called ‘Radio City Zindagi Mubarak – A City Smile Initiative’ in Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Jaipur and Ahmednagar, ‘Oka Chinna Asha - A City Smile Initiative’ – Hyderabad and ‘Radio City Bala Chandrulu - A City Smile Initiative’ in Vizag. The FM station is presenting all proceedings collected from listeners at a formal presentation ceremony attended by listeners, city dignitaries and civic authorities to NGOs - Akanksha Foundation (Pune), Visamo Kids Foundation (Ahmedabad), NICE (Hyderabad), Mahajan Bal Anathashram (Surat), Don Bosco Snehalaya (Vadodara), Vatsalaya Foundation (Jaipur), Anadhasaranalayam Blind School (Vizag) and Snehalaya (Ahmednagar).
