The Department of Research and Development of the Facultuy of Engineering of Avinashilingam University for Women organised a workshop on multimedia to stress its importance as an effective teaching aid. A.Vinod, Managing Director, Cora Systems Private Limited trained the faculty from various branches of engineering. They were taught to create multimedia applications for students. Vice Chancellor of the university, Saroja Prabhakaran, inaugurated the workshop.
