Amrita Student Won 1st Place For The Best Speaker
Shilpa Dinesh Nair of Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore won the first place for the Best Speaker of the Business English Competition organized by the Cambridge ESOL, in association with the British Council in India here on Saturday. Mrigyanka Ghosh of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, New Delhi won the second place at the competition and the prizes were distributed at the Stella Maris College here on Saturday.
The winners can now attend an International competition in Singapore with contestants from other Asian countries at the Asia Region International Finals. About 24 students and young professionals had competed in the Indian National Final Round of University of Cambridge Business English Speaking Contest.
