Corporation Councillor Elected To The Corporation Council Standing Committees
Shobana Selvan, Indian National Congress councillor representing the 4th ward in the Coimbatore Corporation was elected to the two Corporation Council Standing Committees on Saturday.Elections to fill the post took place on Saturday morning with Corporation Commissioner, Anshul Mishra as Returning Officer for the procedure. She was elected to the Health Committee and Town Planning Committee filling up the vacancy caused by the death of Lalitha Pasupathy last month. Shobana Selvan is already in the Standing Committees for Education and Finance.
