The Veterinary University Training and Research Centre here will offer a free training programme in goat farming on February 3 and 4. According to a release, the programme at the centre will benefit farmers and entrepreneurs involved in livestock farming. The centre is a constituent unit of the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai. It offers technical advice for establishing new livestock farms, prevention and treatment of livestock and poultry diseases.
