Award Presentation:
Tamil Nadu Police Traffic Wardens Organisation is organising the awards presentation ceremony for the Friendly Five contest held recently. The awards distribution ceremony will be presided over by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Traffic), N. Kamini. The function would be held at CMS School, Ganapathy from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, a release from A. Mahesh, Chief Traffic Warden, Coimbatore City Unit, said.
BSP Fight Alone :
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will go it alone in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Suresh Mane, national general secretary, said here on Monday. Dr. Mane told reporters here that the party planned to field three candidates from forward community in Tamil Nadu. He also accused political parties in the State of having failed to find a lasting solution to the ethnic crisis in Sri Lanka.
