Train cancelled partially
Due to a line block for six hours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 5, 2009 for enabling erection of a pre cast box bridge between Tirupparankundram and Thirumangalam in Madurai division, Nagercoil – Coimbatore passenger would be partially cancelled.
A release from Southern Railway – Salem Division said that Train number 383 Nagercoil – Coimbatore Passenger and Train Number 384 Coimbatore – Nagercoil passenger will be partially cancelled between Madurai and Virudhunagar for one day on April 5. On April 5, Train number 383 will be regulated at Virudhunagar and would return as Train number 384 to Nagercoil and Train number 384 would be regulated at Madurai and would return to Coimbatore as Train number 383 as a late train from Madurai.
