Competitions at Bharathiar University
As part of the birth centenary celebrations of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai, Bharathiar University has been conducting elocution and essay writing competitions for college students. The final round will be held on July 29 and 30.According to a release, the competitions are in English and Tamil and are on the works of Annadurai.
They have been conducted at five zonal levels, namely Kovai North, Kovai South, Erode, Pollachi and Udhagamandalam. Students from nearly 100 colleges took part. The final round will be covered by Vijay TV.
