ABT X Travels to launch new services
Coimbatore:Within two months of introducing the long-distance omni bus service between Coimbatore-Chennai, Pollachi-Chennai and Tirupur-Chennai, ABT X Travels has decided to expand its operations by launching the Bangalore-Coimbatore, Bangalore-Pollachi sectors operations from January 5.
The Managing Director of the 75-year old ABT Group, Mr M. Manickam, said the travels division proposed to start operations on the Bangalore-Chennai sector very soon.
Special tours :"Special package tours to pilgrim centres across the country is on the cards", he said adding that the company was planning to ply more buses connecting all major cities including Thiruvananthapuram, Madurai and Puducherry before the close of the current fiscal.
To ensure passenger safety, the 40-seater air-conditioned buses have a seat belt for every seat, GPS tracking facility to help track the movement of the buses from the central operating unit at its office.
Reservation : For hassle-free reservation, the company has introduced the e-ticketing facility. `The traveler could book their tickets online by logging on to www.abtxtravels.com he said.
The fare for Bangalore-Coimbatore has been fixed at Rs 380 per seat and Bangalore-Pollachi at Rs 400. The buses would leave Bangalore at 10 pm, he said.
