Paramount airways will connect Bangalore - Hyderabad

Paramount Airways starts services from Bangalore today

The airline at present has a fleet of five aircraft.

It operates 48 flights carrying 3,000 passengers daily

Paramount Airways, promoted by the Paramount Group of Coimbatore, will connect Bangalore to Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam from Wednesday.

Announcing the launch here on Tuesday, Paramount Managing Director M. Thiagarajan told presspersons that within one-and-a-half years of commencing the operation, the airline has connected all major cities in South India. "Our goal is to have Paramount's pan-India presence by 2008 end, by which time we will be having 15 new brand new Embraer aircraft," Mr. Thiagarajan said.

The airline at present has a fleet of five aircraft, connects eight destinations and operates 48 flights carrying 3,000 passengers daily. Also, Paramount would introduce direct flight to Thiruvananthapuram from Bangalore via Kochi in two months. The airline is examining to bring Mangalore in Karnataka in its route network, he added. Mr. Thiagarajan said the airline was committed to operate services to small cities in southern States .

The Hyderabad-Bangalore flight will leave Hyderabad at 6.50 a.m. to reach Bangalore at 7.50 a.m. It leaves Bangalore at 8.30 a.m. and reaches Hyderabad at 9.30 a.m. before leaving for Visakhapatnam at 9.55 a.m. It reaches Vishakapatnam at 10.55 a.m.
