President will participate functions on 24 Feb
Coimbatore: The President, Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, will participate in the golden jubilee celebrations of the South India Textile Research Association (SITRA) here to be held on February 24.
The host of personalities expected to take part include the Tamil Nadu Governor, Mr Surjit Singh Barnala, the Union Textile Minister, Mr Shankarsinh Vaghela, and the Textiles Ministry Secretary, Mr A.K. Singh.
The golden jubilee technological conference to be held the next day will be inaugurated by the Chairman of M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, Dr M.S. Swaminathan, and the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles, Mr Sudripta Roy.
The President, Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam participate the Bharathiyar University Function along with TN Chief Minister in the same day.
