Electoral rolls verification started
Voters told to provide photos for electoral rollsCoimbatore: The third phase of photo electoral rolls verification has begun in all the 15 Assembly segments in the district. The personnel drafted for the work will visit houses to verify the details mentioned in the draft rolls, a release from the Collector said. Voters whose photographs are not in the electoral rolls should hand over their passport size photographs to them for verification. They could also visit the office of the tahsildar or the electoral roll registration officer and hand over the photographs. Voters whose photographs are missing in the rolls are being intimated. On receipt of a notice, they should meet the undersigned (in the notice) and hand over the photographs. Failing to do so, the names of the voters would be deleted from the rolls.
