Flight grounded due to technical snag at Coimbatore

Coimbatore: The IC 657 Delhi-Mumbai-Coimbatore-Calicut Indian flight was grounded here on 31.03.2007 following a technical snag.The flight left as scheduled to Calicut from the Coimbatore airport at around 11.45 a m and within a few minutes of its take-off, the pilot reported some technical snag.Following this, the flight made a safe landing here.Experts from Delhi are expected tonight to attend to the snag. Calicut-bound passengers, who were willing to go by road have been sent.Passengers bound for Mumbai and Delhi have been sent to Kochi, from where they will be flown to their respective destinations in a regular flight.
