Salzer plans Rs.30 Cr expansion
Salzer Electronics Ltd., Coimbatore , manufacturers of electrical switchgear and allied products here, plans to expand its manufacturing facilities to wire and cables with an investment of Rs. 15 crore initially.According to a release, another Rs. 15 crore will be invested in the second phase. Commercial production in the new project will commence in April 2007. The company also plans to enter into new export markets such as Germany, Italy, Poland and China.
"Towards achieving this goal, the company is planning to exhibit its products in the Beijing Electrical Trade Fair" in October. The company expects sales for the current year to reach Rs. 70 crore from the existing product range.
