Southern Railway's cancelled/ rescheduled list

Chennai:Due to the state-wide bandh in Tamil Nadu from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow, Southern Railway has cancelled/ rescheduled some of the trains.All the passenger trains and suburban trains running in Tamil Nadu area will be cancelled between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.All the incoming trains, coming into Tamil Nadu area, will be brought ahead of 6 a.m. as far as possible. If it is not possible to bring them to the terminal, they shall be regulated at suitable stations by the divisions duly making arrangements for the passengers for catering, water, etc.

The Railways has requested train passengers to plan their travel accordingly.
Following trains are being cancelled:
A. South-bound broad gauge trains:
(1) No.2636/2635 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Vaigai Exp.
(2) No.2606/2605 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Pallavan Exp.
(3) No.103/104 Chennai Egmore – Pondicherry Passr.
(4) No.6116 Pondicherry – Chennai Egmore Exp.
(5) No.6127/6128 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Exp. will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore.
(6) No.6607/6608 Chennai Egmore – Mangalore Exp. will be partially cancelled between Trichy and Shoranur.
(7) No.6123/6124 Chennai Egmore – Trivandrum Ananthapuri Exp. will be partially cancelled between Villupuram – Chennai Egmore.
(8) No.2084/2083 Coimbatore - Kumbakonam Jan Shatabdi Exp.
(B) South-West line:
(1) No.2007/2008 Chennai Central – Mysore Shatabdi Exp.
(2) No.2028/2027 Bangalore – Chennai Central Shatabdi Exp.
(3) No.2675/2676 Chennai Central – Coimbatore Kovai Exp.
(4) No.2677/2678 Bangalore – Coimbatore Exp.
(5) No.2639/2640 Chennai Central – Bangalore Brindavan Exp.
(6) No.2607/2608 Chennai Central – Bangalore Lalbagh Exp.

(14) No.6221 Mysore – Chennai Central Kaveri Exp. will be short terminated at Arakkonam. The rake will be brought to Chennai Central after 18.00 hrs. to work No.6222 Kaveri Exp.
(15) No.2695/2696 Chennai Central – Trivandrum Exp. will be partially cancelled between Jolarpettai – Chennai Central.
(C) North-East line:
(1) No.2077/2078 Chennai Central – Vijayawada Jan Shatabdi Exp.
(2) No.2711/2712 Vijayawada - Chennai Central Pinakini Exp. will be partially cancelled between Gudur – Chennai Central
(3) No.2760/2759 Hyderabad - Chennai Central Charminar Exp. will be partially cancelled between Gudur – Chennai Central. T.No.2759 Chennai Central – Hyderabad Charminar Exp. will leave from Gudur at 20.45 hrs. on 31.03.2007.
Outgoing trains from major terminals tomorrow shall be rescheduled as follows:
(1) No.2611 Chennai Central – H.Nizammuddin "Garib Rath" Exp. scheduled to leave at 06.10 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.00 hrs. on 31.3.07.
(2) No.2164 Chennai Central – Dadar Exp. scheduled to leave at 07.00 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.00 hrs. on 31.03.07
(3) No.6012 Chennai Central – Mumbai CST scheduled to leave at 11.45 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.15 hrs. on 31.3.07
(4) No.2753 Chennai Central – Hyderabad Exp. scheduled to leave at 16.45 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.15 hrs. on 31.03.07
(5) No.2669 Chennai Central – Chhapra Ganga Kaveri Exp. scheduled to leave at 17.30 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.30 hrs. on 31.03.07

(7) No.2842 Chennai Central – Howrah Coromandel Exp. scheduled to leave at 09.00 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 19.10 hrs. on 31.3.07.
(8) No.2656 Chennai Central – Ahmedabad Navjivan Exp. scheduled to leave at 09.35 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 19.20 hrs. on 31.3.07.
(9) No.7651 Chennai Egmore – Kacheguda Exp. scheduled to leave at 17.00 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.15 hrs. on 31.3.07.
(10) No.6125 Chennai Egmore – Jodhpur Exp. scheduled to leave at 15.15 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.30 hrs. on 31.3.07.
(11) No.2633 Chennai Egmore – Kanniyakumari Exp. scheduled to leave at 17.25 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.00 hrs. on 31.3.07.
(12) No.2666 Kanniyakumari – Howrah Exp. scheduled to leave Kanniyakumari at 07.50 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.15 hrs. on 31.03.07
(13) No.6866 Exp. scheduled to leave Ernakulam at 22.15 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 21.00 hrs. on 31.3.07.
(14) No. 6332 Trivandrum – Mumbai CST Exp. scheduled to leave Trivandrum at 03.45 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 08.30 hrs. on 31.03.07.
(15) No. 3352 Alleppey – Dhanbad Express scheduled to leave Alleppey at 06.00 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 12.00 hrs. on 31.03.07.
(16) No. 6326 Trivandrum – Indore Ahilyanagari Express scheduled to leave at 05.20 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 11.00 hrs. on 31.03.07.
(17) No. 6525 Kanniyakumari – Bangalore Express will be partially cancelled between Kanniyakumari and Trivandrum on 31.03.07.
(18) No. 1014 Coimbatore – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express scheduled to leave at 08.00 hrs. will be rescheduled to leave at 18.00 hrs. on 31.03.07.
(19) No. 387 Coimbatore – Mangalore Passenger on 31.03.07 will be partially cancelled between Coimbatore and Palghat.
(20) No.1044 Madurai – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express scheduled to leave at 18.00 hrs. on 31.03.07 is rescheduled to leave at 09.00 hrs. on 01.04.2007.
(21) No. 6732/6731 Mysore – Tuticorin Express on 31.03.07 will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Tuticorin.
(22) No. 6232 Mysore – Mayiladuthurai Express on 31.03.07 will be short terminated at Kumbakonam on 31.03.07 and No. 6231 will leave Mayiladuthurai at 19.00 hrs. on 31.03.07.
(23) No. 6177A Chennai Egmore – Kumbakonam Rockfort Express will be short terminated at Thanjavur on 31.03.07.
