A textile delegation has gone to Russia and Japan to explore possibilities of increasing export of textiles and garments to these countries, a press release said.During the visit, the delegation, headed by Union Textile Minister Shankersinh Vaghela, would also explore the possibilities of entering into joint ventures in garment and textile manufacturing and visit the 'International textile expo' opened in Moscow.The delegation would also meet garment and textile importers, garment manufacturers and officials of Russia and Japan, said a release from Tirupur Exporters' Association, whose president A Shaktivel is one of the members in the delegation.
