Fruit products making methods
The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will organise a two-day training programme on making of fruit products on April 18 and 19.A university release said the first 20 selected trainees would be trained on the food processing equipment such as pulper, blancher, homogeniser and pasteuriser.The trainees would also be taught sugar syrup preparation and packaging.Those interested can register their names on or before April 18 along with the course fee of Rs. 1,000 to be paid in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of the Dean (Engineering), and sent to the Post Harvest Technology Centre of the university.For further details regarding the training programme, those interested can call 0422-6611268.
