Innovative practices in sustainable Energy - National Conference
National conference on innovative practices for sustainable energy and waste management, to be held here from April 27, will attempt to identify non-conventional energy sources and methods of using them for sustainable development.The two-day meet will provide a platform for exchanging innovative technologies among researchers, policy-makers and students and assess problems involved in waste water and waste management, R Joseph Xavier, principal of Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology that is organising the conference, told reporters here on Wednesday.
Over 30 papers will be presented and debated by researchers and scholars from various states, including Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka.A panel, after detailed deliberation on the papers, will issue resolutions that will be sent to all state governments, local bodies, NGOs and professional societies for policy-making and implementation.Anna University vice chancellor R Radhakrishna will inaugurate the conference to be attended by over 70 delegates.
