The regional meet of Mayors for the review of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) will be held in the city on Friday.Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammed Kutty will inaugurate the meet to be organised at Mascot Hotel at 10 am.Apart from the Mayors in the state, the district-heads of Chennai,
Coimbatore, Madurai, Pondicherry, Bangalore, Mysore, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Jammu and Kashmir, Shimla, Ludhiana and Faridabad will attend the Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission review meeting.Members of the Department of City Development at the Centre and the state will also take part in the review meeting.
